We are seeking to appoint an Associate Professor in Marketing. The successful candidate will provide academic, teaching and research leadership. You will join a team of highly qualified academics with a passion for enhancing the student experience and producing high quality research. We deliver a range of undergraduate programmes with marketing focus and an innovative MSc Digital Marketing. Newcastle Business School recently hosted the prestigious Academy of Marketing Conference 2016. 

You will make a significant input to teaching and learning leadership, the development of research, research informed teaching, income generation, and high quality publications to contribute to the 2020 Research Excellence Framework.  As a senior academic, you will exemplify our values of collegiality and citizenship and contribute to our research signature areas. 

As an Associate Professor, you will be expected to take on a leading role in programme leadership, research, business engagement, and/or international activities, working closely with the Head of Department. You will also be expected to support a number of academic staff as a line manager and mentor.  

You must have extensive detailed knowledge and subject expertise evidenced by research and/or consultancy and teaching and learning track record. You will be able to foster and develop collaborative links with academic, business, third sector and public sector partners.  As well as having a strong publication record and evidence of ability to generate research income, commensurate with the title of Associate Professor, you must have the ability to empower people in a professional environment. Ideally, you’ll have teaching & learning and research expertise in one or more of the following areas: 

-    Digital Marketing 
-    Branding 
-    Business to Business Marketing and Sales
