Senior Staff Accountant

Prepare journal entries, coordinate month end closing procedures, expense analysis, financial and ad-hoc reporting, revenue recording and compliance with reporting requirements. Work closely with other members of the General Accounting staff, and with staff in Budget, Student Accounts, Research Accounting, and other areas.
B.A./B.S, Masters Degree preferred. Detail oriented, with strong analytical and organizational skills. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Ability to demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills. This position will require learning applicable University, Comptroller's Office, policies, procedures, and practices. Experience with ERP desirable, SAP preferred. Three to five years of related experience. MUST INCLUDE COVER LETTER IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED.
