The University is seeking to appoint a Network Analyst with a strong working knowledge and hands on experience of Cisco network technologies and multi-vendor enterprise firewalls within an Enterprise Campus model.  Strong experience with IP Voice telephony is also essential to the role.

The post holder will be part of the ILS Infrastructure (network & communication) Operations Team; responsible for maintaining Voice and Data network infrastructure, edge and core Firewalls on each of the University Campuses. Be a part of the team which maintains the University Data, Voip and Wireless networks and constantly strives to improve and upgrade the operation and security of these networks. Work with and provide support to colleagues in other teams offering first second and third line support to staff and students in the University. The post holder will provide technical assistance to System Team colleagues who manage the many servers which comprise the core of the University Data Systems.
