Location: Sutton Bonington
Salary: £15,356 to £16,289 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

An opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Technician within the School of Veterinary Medicine and Science, based at Sutton Bonington.
The post requires flexibility, dynamism, energy and initiative, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and good communication skills. The post will support the teaching activities of the School by ensuring that live animal and laboratory based practical classes are fully provided for through the provision of materials, advice and operational support. The post will also be responsible for ensuring that the animal care requirements of the school are fully met.
Candidates for this Level 1 post should possess a minimum of 5 GCSE’s in relevant subjects, or previous work experience in a relevant role. Experience of working with a wide range of animal species is essential. A BTec qualification in Animal Care/Management would be highly desirable.
This is permanent, part time post 18.12h per week.
