The People & Culture team are now looking for an experienced Recruitment professional to take on the role of Recruitment Consultant to provide high level of face-to-face support and coaching to ensure hiring managers recruit and select the best candidates for the University. In this position, you will collaborate with the University to deliver exceptional customer service by providing advice and support throughout the recruitment and selection process. Utilising strategic sourcing and marketing techniques to attract suitable talent, this role will work closely with the University to understand the requirements of each area, including work culture and environment. The Recruitment Consultant works closely with the Manager, Recruitment and Promotions to provide advice and support to the University’s recruitment, classification, and Academic promotion processes and contributes to the continuous improvement of each process.
The position will also contribute to the facilitation of relevant Organisational Development approved workshops as required.
Skills, qualifications and experience
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated experience in recruitment and selection advice and support (in house recruitment experience is essential)
- Experience with managing diverse stakeholder relationships and the ability to use effective negotiation techniques to achieve outcomes
- High level interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
