The School of Economics, Finance and Management is growing significantly over the next five to ten years. Currently the School has around 120 academic staff, situated in three disciplinary Departments, and a professional service team totalling 35 staff. We are seeking to appoint a Deputy School Manager to help shape and deliver the School’s evolving administrative capacity.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience of managing administration in a large, complex organisation. The key skills that we are looking for include; people management, high-level organisation, financial /budgeting and the ability to work analytically to solve problems. Strong candidates for this role will be able to work effectively with a wide range of colleagues and take a positive approach to resolving conflict.
This is a challenging and stimulating role in a dynamic organisational environment. The role will suit a self-motivating candidate with a broad range of management skills and an aptitude for seeking solutions.
