Collaborate with IS&T developers in designing the flow, interaction, interface, and user experience for websites and web applications. Produce wireframes, task flows, and mock-ups. Script interface behaviors. Plan, develop, and conduct usability testing with appropriate constituencies for important enterprise level and high- profile projects. Perform and execute UI/UX and other phases of the development process in order to create BU websites or migrate existing sites into the CMS. Gather project requirements. Collaborate with developers to determine application requirements, and design solutions integrated with the existing University information infrastructure. Produce project scope and effort estimate documentation to inform PMO. Collaborate with QA to produce test plan. Coordinate with Marketing & Communications to ensure all UI work complies with University branding guidelines. Track, evaluate, and report on developments in pertinent tools and technologies of possible interest and value to IS&T or the University Plan and conduct internal training sessions for IS&T staff cross-training and for IT Help Center support staff. Work to improve internal procedures, processes, communication, knowledge sharing, and mentoring.
B.A./B.S., Masters preferred. Five to eight years of related experience.
