Role Purpose

To ensure the delivery of excellence in education through:

  • Supporting the Vice Dean (Education) in leading the co-ordination and transformation of curricula in line with the Faculty’s education vision and priorities and, where appropriate, standards as set out by the Nursing & Midwifery Council.
  • Leading and delivering projects to ensure best pedagogic practice is embedded across curricula in line with the Faculty’s education vision and priorities, including blended learning and assessment strategies.
  • Working collaboratively with senior academic and professional services colleagues within the Faculty to shape, co-ordinate and evaluate the Faculty’s educational portfolio across the student life cycle.
  • Supporting the Vice Dean (Education) in delivering commitments under both the Faculty’s and university’s governance structure, including membership of, deputising for and/or chairing committees and working groups as appropriate.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Faculty and university to ensure the delivery of a world class student experience in line with King’s Education Strategy.
  • Working collaboratively with the Director of Administration and Business Development and other key personnel on international education consultancy projects as appropriate.
