Your New Role:

You will provide Technical Support Services, maintenance, quality assurance and improvement as part of the simulation based team.

  • You will set up and maintain the Clinical Learning Centre and associated equipment
  • Assembling and testing equipment and components to meet agreed specifications and standards
  • Maintaining equipment including general cleaning, services and repairs, and arranging specialised maintenance, as appropriate
  • Maintaining records, data, registers and manifests as required, in support of the School’s technical operations
  • Coordinating resource availability and booking systems

You Will Be:

Working within the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Sciences, you will work under an Annualised Hours agreement, requiring some weekend and shift work to facilitate the smooth operations of the students learning journey. You will be a person who is motivated by:

You Will Have:

When submitting your application for the Simulation Technician please provide evidence of the following qualifications;

  • Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety requirement and the ability to work in compliance with OH&S provision (mandatory)
  • Completion of an associate diploma and at least 2 years subsequent relevant work experience; or completion of a certificate or advanced certificate and extensive relevant experience in a health discipline; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
