About the role

We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our growing Student Services Hub in the role of Student Hub Team Leader. GSM London is committed to enhancing the student experience, enabling their success and providing the highest possible levels of support. In order to achieve this, we have redesigned our Student Services Hub and we are expanding our team. 

We are seeking two Student Hub Team Leaders to work within our Student Services team, supporting and developing the information, advice and guidance throughout the student journey. You will work collaboratively with colleagues within a fast moving environment: working independently with your team on smaller scale projects as well working on larger cross college initiatives. You will be responsible for undertaking a range of student facing projects; managing communications on GSM London’s digital platforms and reporting on the effectiveness of services. 

You will have experience of delivering services within the Further or Higher Education sector or similar environment. An understanding of student unions, institutional reviews and quality systems will be highly regarded. This role would suit a candidate who is highly organised, experienced in dealing customers from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, creative and innovative with an inclusive style of working. 

To be successful you will be degree qualified or be able to demonstrate your experience in a Further or Higher Education setting. You will possess excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills and stakeholder management ability along with strong organisational skills. Your initiative and enthusiasm will see you develop and propose innovative ideas and solutions.
