A vacancy has arisen for a full-time, fixed two year, horticultural trainee post funded by Horticultural charity Perennial  at the University of Bristol Botanic Garden.

Based in the Botanic Garden you will receive on the job training in a wide range of horticultural tasks and work with the garden’s extensive plant collection. You will be introduced to the educational work of the garden as part of your training and attend, depending on your previous experience, one of the Royal Horticultural Society’s Level 2 or level 3 theory courses at the garden. 

This is a great opportunity for someone who is committed to a career in horticulture and wants to work and study with a dynamic team of staff and volunteers to help deliver the educational, outreach and event work in support of the Garden’s Mission.
