The ANU College of Law is currently ranked 16th in the world in its field, and is the national law school of Australia. Its academic staff are recognised as leaders in their fields, and its research and teaching is the basis of its global reputation.
The University now seeks to appoint a distinguished scholar and academic leader to become the next Dean of the ANU College of Law. The Dean will ensure that the College continues to model the excellence for which it is renowned, and addresses the major legal, social and political challenges of the 21st century, consistent with the aspirations and responsibilities of the national university.
As a member of the ANU Senior Management Group, the Dean will be a proven and inspiring leader with a distinguished record of scholarship in an environment of academic excellence. A deep knowledge of the law, preferably in a government, constitutional or public policy domain, is essential.
