We are seeking to appoint a Research Programme Coordinator to join the NIHR School for Public Health research team at the LSHTM to manage a programme of research focused on evaluating local level interventions and policies. 

The post-holder will be responsible for the effective management of the NIHR School for Public Health Research at the LSHTM (SPHR@L). The post-holder will lead the SPHR@L financial management, taking part in financial decision-making and will be responsible for preparing quarterly and annual financial and progress reports to be submitted to the NIHR. The successful candidate will oversee the whole SPHR@L research programme, including coordinating and (co)chairing and providing secretariat support to the research programme’s management team, advisory group and research team meetings. The post holder will also work closely with the PIs and team manager to prepare and deliver SPHR@L’s strategy; including research aims, administration, governance, project management, communications and public and practitioner engagement and involvement and will be responsible for monitoring progress and outputs across all work streams. 

This post will require excellent communication, financial, management and organisational skills and will involve working with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders from a broad range of settings.

The post is available full-time commencing as soon as possible. The post is available until 31 March 2022 in the first instance. The salary will be on the LSHTM Professional Support Pathway Grade 5 scale, in the range £33,006 to 37,889 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service.  Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Director’s Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available.
