Applications are invited for a Research Associate in the Particle Physics Group of the School of Physics at the University of Bristol. The position is funded by the European Research Council as part of a project making precision measurements of CP violation using multibody analysis techniques. The postholder would finalise and bring to publication the measurement of the CP violation parameter y using B->DK, D->KKpipi decays at LHCb. Given the short timescale available to complete the task, a detailed understanding of this particular approach and decay channel would be required. Candidates will have or be about to gain a PhD in a relevant field; proven experience of particle physics analysis; proven experience of C++ and ROOT; and expertise in the sophisticated multibody analysis techniques relevant to the task. Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to travel are also necessary.
