As HR Adviser for Clinical Academic staff, you will be part of the wider HR team taking responsibility for the provision of a comprehensive, specialised and professional HR service mainly focused on the employment of Clinical Academic Staff.

This is a complex role which requires the desire to manage change in practices and work collaboratively with NHS partners. To be successful you will need to be able to demonstrate an ability to prioritise workload, respond effectively to unforeseen circumstances and develop effective relationships with all stakeholders.

You will need excellent influencing, communication and people skills and as the department works very much as a team, you will need to demonstrate your ability to work as a team player whilst being flexible in approach
Knowledge of ‘Doctors and Dentists’ Terms and Conditions and Doctors in Training is essential and knowledge of Job Planning and experience in the Higher Education sector would be an advantage.

The role can be offered as a 6 month, fixed term contract in the first instance or we would be willing to offer the role as a secondment to someone already working within a medical staffing role subject to approval of the arrangement by your current employer.
