About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Course Advisor to join our growing Student Recruitment team. This role is responsible for the recruitment of suitably qualified UK/EU students into undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of study at GSM London.
In support of GSM London’s overall growth strategy in increasing student numbers and promoting our profile, your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing face-to-face, digital and telephone enquiries for prospective leads; interviewing prospective students to promote and provide advice on our course offerings and follow-up with guidance throughout the application and enrolment process. In addition, you will work closely with the recruitment, marketing and admissions teams in the continuous improvement of service delivery and internal practices.
To be successful, you will need to demonstrate your exceptional experience and skills working in a similar customer advisory environment along with strong cultural diversity awareness. You will possess superior verbal and written communication skills, initiative and be organised in a busy and rapidly changing environment. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working individual with experience in customer service and sales and outstanding administration skills.
An understanding of major education systems and experience in working within student recruitment or marketing within the education environment will be looked upon favourably.
