The School of Dentistry and Health Sciences is a multi-campus, academic unit. As Associate Professor / Professor you will provide significant leadership through teaching and research and contribute to the administration and strategic planning of the School, Faculty and University. The School of Dentistry and Health Science places great importance on its relationships with the Medical Radiation Science professions and relationships with rural and regional communities; the incumbent will be expected to fully engage, maintain and further develop these relationships. The role will also require involvement in course review processes and development and provide leadership in the discipline.
The appointee will have extensive clinical experience within the field of contemporary general radiography practice and/or magnetic resonance imaging and can demonstrate education experience within the clinical and/or academic setting. The appointee will be responsible for teaching a range of subjects which may include computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, general radiography, medical radiation science and clinical simulation. It will be expected that multiple teaching methods (face to face and online delivery) methods are utilised. The appointee will participate in the administration and ongoing curriculum development and progress an active research profile that aligns with both the University and Schools direction.
