The Department of Architecture and the Built Environment is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic lecturer in real estate. We are looking for someone with excellent proven competence on one of the following areas:
- valuation for loan security
- asset valuation
- rent review and lease renewal
- valuations for rating and / or taxation
- discounted cash flow valuations
- residual valuations
- investment method valuation
- landlord and tenant legislation and its impact on rental value
- portfolio management
The appointee will be expected to contribute to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. In addition to teaching across the built environment subjects, he/she will be called upon to teach in specific areas of the syllabus.
Other duties will depend upon the background of the appointee, who will be expected to make an enthusiastic contribution to the life of the department and faculty. A proven research track record through publication in major conferences and journals, or through practice, is desirable.
