As part of our ongoing commitment to academic excellence we are now seeking to appoint a new Pro-Vice-Chancellor Research and Knowledge Transfer. Strategic insight and leadership are vital to this role, developing and championing research and innovation within the University, whilst building and promoting a strong research culture that is truly interdisciplinary and impacts on society, as per the mission of the University. Nurturing partnerships with local, national and international businesses, you will maintain and optimise research partnerships and funding in line with the University’s ambitions in ‘making knowledge work’.

With outstanding achievements in scholarship and research at national level, supported by a first class track record in leadership of research and knowledge transfer, you will bring new ideas and strategic judgment to the University. This post is critical in helping us to position the University as a centre of excellence for tackling the big societal and economic challenges of the 21st Century.
