The role and your responsibilities

RMIT has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed individual interested in applying their administrative skills and experience to an innovative organisation. The Administrative Officer, Research Office has responsibility for providing high level administrative support to the Research and Innovation Portfolio, across a wide range of areas, including coordinating events and meetings, internal grant administration and general purchasing and generally supporting a busy office.

Skills and experience required

We are looking for a highly organised individual with a proven ability to manage a number of competing tasks and meet critical deadlines. To be successful in this role you will have proven initiative and problem solving skills, and an ability to confidently manage relationships and communicate with people from a diverse range of academic, business and cultural backgrounds.
