We are seeking an enthusiastic Lecturer to contribute to The Open University’s BA (Hons) Early Childhood. You will join a team which has developed an exciting approach to the study of Early Childhood based on our expertise in distance education.

You will contribute to the maintenance of our existing curriculum and to new curriculum developments. You will also have the ability to engage in research and scholarship activity.

You must have a higher degree or equivalent professional knowledge in Early Childhood or a related field and a good understanding of approaches to studying Early Childhood in the Social Sciences. You will have an understanding of supported open and distance learning; an ability to write clearly and cogently for a diverse student audience and have some experience of teaching in higher education.
