The Business School at Penryn is a world-class, research-led, interdisciplinary business research centre that aims to find practical solutions to global challenges facing the environment and society.
The University of Exeter Business School at the Penryn Campus is hoping to appoint a world-class expert working in the area of global supply chains and international development management. We are looking for a research profile that fits with the School’s focus on interdisciplinary research. Research areas that are of particular interest to us (although not limited to) are:
- Global supply and value chains
- New and alternative business models in developing countries
- Management of governance institutions and systems
- Business and Human Rights
The successful candidates will be located at our Penryn Campus in Cornwall and should have a PhD in a relevant subject.
The Penryn Campus offers the very latest academic, research and residential facilities set in 100 acres of countryside. The campus is only 10 minutes from Falmouth, the centre of Cornwall’s creative scene, with businesses, studios, shops and galleries, and great live music across the town. Falmouth’s seven beaches, beautiful rivers and the world-famous marina also make it a haven for those who love sand, sailing and the sea. Recent improvements to the Campus include the new lecture theatres, an extended and refurbished library and informal study spaces. A brand new sports centre, gym and nursery are also now open to staff, students, and the local community.
Appointments will be made in the salary range below depending on qualifications and experience:
Associate Professor: £54,637 to £68,836 per annum
