The IT Services Department is committed to the continual improvement of the technologies and services which underpin just about every aspect of College life. We are committed to ensuring that technology is working hard to support innovative and agenda-setting research, to deliver unparalleled learning experiences to students and support seamless and efficient College operations. To do this effectively IT Services is seeking committed and engaging staff that can work in partnership with the academic and professional departments to understand their needs and deliver technology solutions.
Working within the Core Service Delivery team of IT services, the post of Network Administrator is responsible for the administration of all aspects of an enterprise sized academic data and telecoms network ensuring the delivery of a premier class 3rd line service to students and staff at the university. The successful candidate will be coming into a busy team managing an environment with a very wide range of technologies, providing high uptime across a large wired and wireless network. This role provides an exciting opportunity to build expertise across a range of technologies and to become involved in varied project work providing solutions and technical expertise to a wide range of college activities.
The successful candidate will show experience of working with enterprise networking and telephony technologies in an IT services environment and have strong communication skills and team work with a positive can-do attitude.
This is a full time and permanent post, immediately available. This post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
