Applications are invited for the position of Teaching Fellow in Teaching English as a Second or Other Language (TESOL). The MSc TESOL programme is highly successful research-led taught postgraduate programmes, attracting large numbers of international students annually. They are underpinned by the extensive research and professional experience of the team of staff delivering them.
The post holder will have proven teaching capability to join the TESOL group in the Institute for Teaching, Education and Leadership, Moray House School of Education and contribute to the delivery of excellent, research-led teaching at postgraduate level. You will have strengths in the field of TESOL/applied linguistics and will contribute significantly to teaching on the MSc TESOL programme. You should demonstrate established contributions to teaching in TESOL, underpinned by international experience of teaching languages in different contexts. You will be able to teach in a culturally sensitive way that reflects a commitment to social justice and the provision of high quality student experience. You will take responsibility for developing, teaching, administering courses and supervising dissertations primarily on the MSc TESOL, and will contribute to the wider work of the subject area in the Institute and the School.
This post is a full-time, 35 hours, open-ended post and is available from August 2017 or as soon as thereafter.
