Salary package: $113,929 - $127,025 per annum + 17% Superannuation
Term Length: Three (3) years, Continuing (Contingent Funded)
The ARC Centre of Excellence for Translational Photosynthesis at the Research School of Biology at the Australian National University is seeking to appoint two outstanding midcareer researchers in an area of research related to Photosynthesis and plant productivity.
The appointees will have an established record in building internationally competitive, innovative research projects.
The Division of Plant Sciences within the School has an excellent international reputation in areas of photosynthesis, growth and photosynthetic water-use efficiency and the ARC Centre of Excellence for Translational Photosynthesis is a world leading focus for research in strategies for photosynthetic improvement.
The successful appointees will establish a research program that compliments and extends the suite of research activities funded in the Centre.
A key feature of research within the Centre is the ability to conduct research across a range of scales from the gene to the whole plant and crop.
Applicants with expertise across any of these scales are encouraged to apply, however the ability to integrate research across these levels would be highly desirable.
