The Role and Your Responsibilities

The Senior Advisor, Scholarship of Learning and Teaching is responsible for provide high-level assistance to the Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor, Learning and Teaching in the SEH College, in initiatives to foster scholarly teaching practice and research in learning and teaching, in the recognition and promotion of teaching excellence, and in learning and teaching strategies to improve the student experience within Schools in the College.

Skills & Experience Required

You will have a substantial record of scholarship in pedagogy and/or educational development that advances good practice in learning and teaching, including a strong publication record and grant funding. You will also have a demonstrated ability to manage projects and to creatively solve problems to facilitate project completion. You will significant ability to negotiate and clarify project objectives, roles and boundaries, to build team consensus and deal with conflict. Furthermore, your ability to forge collaborative leadership relationships across organisational boundaries, with experience in supporting collaborative educational projects will be essential to your success in this role.
