School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work

Applications are invited for a professorial level appointment in the School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work.  Successful candidates should demonstrate that they are committed to delivering high quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level. The sociology undergraduate programme is undergoing significant redesign and development. Alongside the introduction of new pathways in quantitative methods these present significant opportunities for development in the area. We are looking for someone to lead and mentor the team through these developments.  The successful candidate will be expected to provide leadership and mentoring to staff to help develop the research profile of the School in this area.
