We are looking for an experienced customer service star to join the Student Adviser team. The ECU Contact Centre is the first point of contact for phone and online enquiries providing efficient, accurate and solution-focussed information to students. The position is based at the Joondalup Campus however, you may be required to operate at Mt Lawley Campus on rostered rotation.
In this dynamic role you will be responsible for the delivery of excellent customer focused enquiry services. This is a busy and varied role in an energetic and supportive team.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong data entry skills
- Computer proficiency
- A polished, professional phone manner
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
The ideal candidate will have previous contact centre experience with the demonstrated ability to handle high volumes of phone/online enquiries.

This is a part-time role with the hours of work during non-peak periods equating to 11.25 hours per week (split across 2 days). However, in peak periods, you must be available full time (37.5 hours per week).
For 2017, the full-time dates have been set as follows:
- 17 July to 4 August (3 weeks)
- 27 November to 1 December (1 week)
- 11 December to 22 December (2 weeks)
Benefits & Remuneration
These part-time, fixed term or ongoing positions attract remuneration of $61,613 to $65,829 (pro rata) plus the University superannuation contribution.
