The School of Medical and Health Sciences at Edith Cowan University (ECU) offers undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees. Academics in the School are involved in research and teaching relating to a wide range of allied, public and occupational health disciplines.
ECU is currently seeking an experienced Lecturer or Senior Lecturer for a part-time, ongoing position. This position offers excellent opportunities for a motivated academic to pursue teaching and research in Nutrition and Dietetics.
In this position you will be a member of the Nutrition and Dietetics academic team and will be required to coordinate and teach units at the undergraduate and postgraduate level, with particular focus on the areas of nutrient metabolism and nutritional biochemistry. You will also be expected to have the knowledge, skills and experience to contribute to research in this discipline; and experience with program or course coordination in a Nutrition and Dietetics related discipline would be an advantage at Level C. You must be eligible for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia and Accredited Practising Dietitian credential.
We are looking for a great teacher, with experience in teaching undergraduate or post graduate students in the area of Nutrition and Dietetics. You must be an Accredited Practising Dietitian and have a PhD and/or have extensive industry experience in clinical dietetics. Evidence of research in relevant fields as well as a track record in successful grant applications is essential. Experience as program or course coordination in Nutrition and Dietetics studies related discipline would also be an advantage at Level C.

Benefits & Remuneration
This ongoing 50% FTE role will attract remuneration of $95,979 to $113,978 (Lecturer ALEVB) / $117,573 to $135, 570 (Senior Lecturer ALEVC) paid on a pro-rata basis, plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
