The role of the Research Strategy and Partnerships Office (RSPO) is to enhance the University’s research performance and profile by working with Faculties, research teams and researchers to identify and support opportunities to undertake all types of research activity from all sources of funding. This includes government and industry contract research, tenders and commissioned research, competitive grants, international foundations and other sources. The aim of this support is to ensure submission of high quality, competitive, research funding proposals from UNSW researchers at all stages of their careers.
About the role
- A$99k - $122K plus (17% superannuation and leave loading)
- Fixed Term - 5 years with the possibility of extension
As one of a team of Research Partnership Managers you will review, provide advice and negotiate research and other consulting agreements and contracts, and maintain effective working relationships with external industry partners, national and international funding bodies and relevant stakeholders within the University. The position involves strategic planning, development and implementation of policies, processes and procedures and growing research income to the University to achieve UNSW 2025 strategic objectives.
