The Department of Management is the largest department in the College, with around 1,750 full-time equivalent students and nearly 50 staff members. It has a strong research reputation in a number of areas, including international business, innovation management and entrepreneurship, human resource management, corporate governance, sport management, accounting and finance, and marketing.

The Department has been at the forefront of innovation and is home to the highly reputable Centre for Innovation Management and Research (CIMR). The Department also offers a wide range of programmes, including the MSc Business Innovation with Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management. The teaching requirement includes practice-informed teaching that responds to students’ need for applied entrepreneurship skills. Applicants should be able to outline clear plans for future contributions to research and teaching as well as demonstrate their readiness to undertake administrative duties as may be directed by the Assistant Dean.

Applications are particularly welcome from specialists in Entrepreneurship, but candidates from related subject areas who have compelling CVs may also apply.
