Research Associate in Engineering
About the role
The Research Associate will contribute to the research efforts of the School of Engineering in particular in the field of biomedical engineering related to understanding the interaction of biological entities within functional interphases.
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have a PhD degree in material science, chemistry, physical chemistry, biomedical engineering with relevant research experience. You will have demonstrated experience in the development of biomaterial surfaces along with surface characterisation techniques. Capacity to conduct high quality research demonstrated by publications in leading journals along with high level communication skills that allow you to work collaboratively in a diverse research team is essential for this role.
