Librarian in Information Services

- Level 5 – $66,079 to $72,230 p.a. (Plus 17% Superannuation)
The Division of Library Services supports the University’s ethos of ‘yindyamarra winhanga-nha’ - ‘the wisdom of respectfully knowing how to live well in a world worth living in’. We provide high quality information services and resources to support students, staff, and all members of the University campuses and its communities. We aspire to excellence in the provision of innovative library services delivered online and on-campus.
The Information Services section is responsible for ensuring all client groups have equitable access and appropriate skills and support to use the Library’s information resources.
The Librarian, Information Services works within a multi campus team to provide effective and skilled information and library support services, through various physical and online service modes. They will develop and deliver quality information literacy instruction to library clients, liaise with academics and educational designers to embed library and information literacy resources into courses and subjects, and provide individual support to clients.
To be successful in this role you will need to be able to adapt to changes in work tasks and the work environment and support a culture of quality customer service.
