Description: Are you a passionate health promotion professional looking to contribute to teaching and learning?

In this student-focused position, you will contribute to teaching and learning and carry out duties that maintain and develop scholarly activities relevant to the health promotion area. Your enthusiasm for the field will assist you to conduct activities that stimulate and foster student learning, and ensure innovative curriculum design and development of learning materials.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute in a significant and positive way to the education and development of undergraduate and post-graduate students from diverse backgrounds, in both a face-to-face and online capacity.

In addition to relevant industry experience, the successful applicant will possess a doctoral degree in public health or health promotion and have significant health promotion teaching experience. A reflective approach to teaching delivery is essential along with a strong understanding of pedagogical theory and contemporary education practice. Experience supervising HDR students would be well regarded.

Benefits and Remuneration: The salary ranges presented are those which are contained within the University's Enterprise Agreements; as are the employee benefits which include employer superannuation contribution at the rate of the current Government Superannuation Guarantee amount up to 17 percent, study assistance, a comprehensive salary packaging and wellness programs and flexible and family friendly work practices.
