We are seeking a dynamic, passionate and committed Customer Service Officer to work within the UNSW Student Accommodation team.

UNSW Student Accommodation is part of University Services and manages a portfolio of just over 2,000 UNSW owned and operated student accommodation beds.

The Customer Service Officer, reporting directly to the General Manager Operations, has delegated responsibilities for the delivery of an exceptional customer experience that contributes to the generation and conversion of sales leads. In turn, the CSO’s activity supports UNSW Student Accommodation achieving its occupancy, customer service rating and reapplication percentage objectives.

The Customer Service Officer:

  • Plays a key role in UNSW Student Accommodation’s sales and marketing operations, focussing on the delivery of outstanding levels of customer care and service at all times across a wide range of channels.
  • Operates in a number of environments and is responsible for capturing customer enquiries, assisting them to find the most suitable accommodation within the UNSW Student Accommodation portfolio.
  • Will undertake, on a proactive basis, ongoing follow ups of outstanding sales leads with the objective of converting interest into sales.

Applicants must have previous experience in an operational administration and sales focussed role and a commitment to customer service.

Applicants must also have excellent verbal and written communication skills that promote positive interactions with stakeholders and residents.

This is a full-time (35 hours per week) continuing position.
