The Student Education Service (SES) provides consistent, high quality support for all student cohorts. The Service is underpinned by principles of quality, equity, consistency and opportunity, delivering an exceptional student experience for all.
The Service encourages staff to be flexible by providing professional training and development, with resultant opportunities to work in a variety of roles across the SES.

In our Faculty you will find one of the broadest portfolios of work in the arts and humanities offered by any research-intensive University. The School of Design is unique in the range of its approaches to art practice, fashion, textile, graphics and communication design combining both arts and science-based teaching and research. It runs a number of undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes in these areas, including some delivered jointly with the Leeds University Business School. The School also offers programmes for research students.

As Student Education Service Officer, you will be responsible for delivering high quality administration of a number of student education processes associated with the taught provision, in particular examinations and assessment, and timetabling, and will play a central part in enhancing and developing the student education environment and culture of the School.

This is a busy and demanding role where initiative, efficiency and meticulous attention to detail are essential. You should have a proven record of effective administration in a Higher Education or Further Education setting, supported by excellent IT skills and coupled with the ability to develop constructive working relationships with a range of colleagues and students.

It is expected that you will demonstrate a commitment to your own professional and personal development within the post.
