Job overview

Working in the Department of Business and Management, comprising four subject clusters of which Strategy and Operations Management (SOM) is one, this post will focus on teaching in the area of Operations and Innovation Management.

The SOM subject cluster currently has around 30 permanent members of academic staff, including four professors, and a number of visiting professors and fellows, adjunct teaching staff and doctoral students. The subject cluster comprises two Fields: Operations and Information Management, and Strategy and International Business. Colleagues in the Operations and Information Field contribute to teaching across the range of the Faculty of Business and Law undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in a broad range of subject areas including Operations and service operations, information and innovation management and project management and we are also currently looking to enhance our capabilities in Supply Chain Management. Successful applicants will join a thriving community of academics engaged in a broad range of research and scholarly activities across these areas.
