FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING OFFICER
Contract: Full-time (Permanent)
Salary: £28,882 - £34,660 (Including LWA)

Working within the Finance department and reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this is a key role within the team, responsible for processing the day to day financial transactions of the Conservatoire.
The role will be flexible and be expected to work across the whole of the financial accounting team. This work will involve accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, producing bank reconciliations and/or answering general queries to do with any financial accounting activity. You will work closely with senior staff within the institution generally.
You will have AAT or an equivalent qualification and have experience of working in a customer focused team. A good knowledge of financial reporting standards and financial governance is essential alongside an understanding of best practice for financial accounting. Experience with agresso (our financial system) and working within the higher education sector is desirable.
