About You

We are looking for someone with a highly proactive and entrepreneurial approach to generate and realise opportunities, support student engagement and secure industry partners for a variety of collaborations. You will have excellent communication skills, be flexible and be able to identify opportunities, and imbue high levels of professional integrity with stakeholders.

With a keen interest in technology, you will understand the challenges and responses in identifying and developing new business opportunities. You must have an understanding of the key stakeholders and funding landscape for knowledge exchange activities in the higher education sector.

You will be solution focussed and results driven, with a real desire to deliver quality to all customers, advancing their knowledge and capability.

About the Role

You will be responsible for identifying a range of funding opportunities and by engaging with staff and industry, you will advance and maximise knowledge exchange collaborations. You will be responsible for driving, maintaining and managing projects activity. In addition you will liaise with our employability co-ordinator to identify and manage student projects and overall, support students develop skills and behaviours which maintain the departments high standards on employability.
