Harvard Divinity School seeks an adjunct lecturer in Latin instruction for an appointment in the Harvard Divinity School’s Summer Language Program. The Summer Language Program course instruction period runs from Monday, June 12 to Thursday, August 3, 2017. The hiring period will be June 1 to August 31, 2017. The Summer Language Program at the Harvard Divinity School is an eight-week, intensive language program offering the material of two semesters (one year) of instruction within eight weeks (nine hours of instruction over three days each week).The appointment title will depend on the finalist’s qualifications.
Applicants should demonstrate the following qualifications: (1) completed advanced degree, Ph.D. preferred and (2) substantial experience in teaching Latin. Previous publications in the area of Latin is desirable, though not required.
