The Organisation

Property Services has approximately 120 staff and has the responsibility to operate, maintain and enhance the buildings owned and leased by RMIT University, oversee construction projects and ensure the provision of physical facilities services.

The role and your responsibilities

The Administrative Officer provides independent, high quality, flexible confidential support to the Capital Works' Senior Manager. While the position has primary focus on supporting senior members, the position will also be responsible for administrative support to the broader Capital Works team, the Deputy Director, Capital Works and Capital Works Coordinator where required.

Skills and experience required

The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in providing high-level, confidential secretarial and executive support to a senior manager or equivalent in a large and complex organisation. Your excellent problem solving skills, with the ability to take the initiative in identifying and pursuing opportunities to improve existing processes / procedures will be critical to your success in this role. Furthermore, key to this role will be your excellent attention to detail and proven high level of competence and accuracy in performing tasks.
