The role and your responsibilities

This role provides an opportunity for emerging researchers in the field of Supply Chain Management and Logistics to further establish their research career. The position is open to people who have completed a PhD within the five years prior to appointment to the position and who do not currently hold a continuing academic appointment with RMIT University. The Postdoctoral Fellow is required to undertake research activities in line with the University's research strategy. The position will carry out team based research projects, which will make a significant impact in the area of their specialisation and be influential in expanding the knowledge of their relevant discipline.

Skills and experience required

As the ideal candidate you will have an emerging track record and some recognition for quality research outputs which will contribute to existing high performing RMIT research teams, evidenced by publications and development of new research initiatives. Demonstrated experience in conducting research in an area aligned with one or more of RMIT's Enabling Capability Platforms. Furthermore,your ability to build effective networks with peers and colleagues and your excellent communication skills will be critical to your success in this role.

A PhD in relevant field is required.
