Recruitment Specialist - Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences

Responsible for identifying potential participants for research studies for selected investigators within Sargent College. Includes liaising with local health professionals, schools or educational institutions, and clinical service providers, contacting potential participants and/or their families (including families of young children and adults with disabilities), preparing and distributing fliers and other recruitment materials at local establishments, and participating in outreach activities such as staffing a booth at festivals. Responsible for identifying new avenues for recruitment and outreach, implementing recruitment protocols, and maintaining the participant database.
High School diploma required, B.A./B.S preferred. One year of related experience required experience such as research, working with young children and their families, working with individuals with disabilities, or experience in medical settings.
Must have valid driver's license and own method of transportation (may need to travel to recruitment sites). Initial hire term is 1 year.
