The Role

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and high quality science education teacher educator.

You will be contributing to teaching, tutoring and assessment in Secondary Initial Teacher Education ensuring a high quality experience for those involved in the range of programmes on which you are working. The post holder will be primarily responsible for teaching science education for the secondary and 7-14 phase student teachers.

The Person

You will have experience of leading science pedagogy, practice and curriculum development and implementation in schools, and teaching modules or tutoring/mentoring in science teacher education. You will hold a first degree and teaching qualification and you should either have (or be willing to study for) a higher degree.

Experience of working on a range of teacher education programmes would be an advantage.
