The IT Services Department is committed to the continual improvement of the technologies and services which underpin just about every aspect of College life. We are committed to ensuring that technology is working hard to support innovative and agenda-setting research, to deliver unparalleled learning experiences to students and support seamless and efficient College operations. To do this effectively IT Services is seeking a committed and experienced Project Manager that can deliver important IT projects on time, budget and to specification.

The Project Manager will be educated to Degree level, and will be accountable to the Assistant Director (Projects) in IT Services and their Project Boards for planning and successfully delivering their projects, ensuring budget, time and quality requirements are met. The Project Manager is responsible for enforcing the IT project implementation methodology and ensuring it is maintained and applied throughout the full lifecycle of the project.  The successful candidate will therefore need to demonstrate a strong track record of managing projects from inception and project bids, through initiation, start-up, design, build, test, release and post implementation review

The successful candidate will have experience of managing a number of IT related projects and delivering them to completion, meeting the requirements within identified timescale, cost and defined quality standards, to stakeholder satisfaction

The successful candidate will also have a proven track record in engaging, establishing and building relationships with key stakeholders.  They will have demonstrable experience of understanding and delivering IT projects against business strategy and processes. The successful candidate will have strong leadership, communication and team work skills.

As a Senior IT professional, you will have experience of providing strong user-focused services, experience of ITIL and management of a technical team.  You will have a clear understanding of the issues facing the Higher Education IT community, and have a keen interest in continuing to develop the role of IT services at all levels of the College. You will have strong leadership, communication, influencing and team work skills.

This is a full time and permanent post, available from June 2017. This post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
