This is the expected starting salary for this post however appointment at a higher point may be made for candidates who demonstrate exceptional skills and experience relevant to the role.

Applications are invited for the post of Equality and Diversity Co-ordinator in the Human Resources Department. The College is committed to the advancement of equality of opportunity and subscribe to the principles of the Athena SWAN Charter and Race Equality Charter having successfully gained Institutional Bronze awards for both.

As Equality and Diversity coordinator, you will work collaboratively with central services and departments to provide tailored advice, support and guidance on the equality implications for new and current policies and practices, in particular, as they relate to under- represented groups.  You will support the dissemination and embedding of good practice and facilitate the development of all aspects of equality and diversity activities across the College.

You will have a good understanding of equality and diversity with particular focus on gender equality and of the possible approaches to and techniques for delivering gender equality, specifically in the areas of recruitment, retention and progression for women.  Experience of advising and working collaboratively with managers at all levels is essential as well as coordinating development or briefing events.  An appreciation of race equality or experience of advancing under-representation of minority groups, e.g. disabled and LGBT people, within an organisation would be desirable.

This is a full time permanent post, immediately available or as soon as possible. It is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
