Main duties and responsibilities:
• Working with the AA Team Leader and Academic Achievement Advisers, develop and deliver online and face-to-face Information Literacy guidance, following the Triage model, across all disciplines and at all levels, in line with strategic objectives and operational plans.
• Work with Academic Engagement Team to contribute to the departmental planning cycle in implementing and supporting methodologies and access to up-to-date resources that support students, researchers and others. Ensure all resources are regularly reviewed, updated where necessary.
• Contribute to review and planning (termly and annually) and any actions arising, implementing any new working practices.
• Contribute to any pilots/projects/working groups/feedback mechanisms as requested.
• Work collaboratively with team sharing experience and best practice in digital and information literacy support, developing joint resources to ensure consistency of service provision.
• As part of the wider Library, Technology and Media Services team, develop strategies and undertake project work to enhance the student experience across the University.
• As part of the team and through regular contact with the Team Leader, develop and agree schedules of work, maintaining records of activities. Use performance measures to monitor and continuously enhance the service to meet changing needs.
• As directed by Team Leader, represent Academic Achievement Team at meetings and on working groups.
• As directed by Team Leader, liaise with Academic Engagement Team to facilitate information exchange and contribute to decision making.
• Actively promote the Academic Achievement Team via agreed Marketing Plans
• Support HoS and Team Leader in the strategic development of the Academic Achievement Team.
