Job Description

The Administrative Coordinator provides administrative support for the overall coordination of academic programs at MET under the supervision of the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Assistant Dean for Administration, and the Manager of Academic Programs, and for supporting various functions of the Dean of MET. Responds to routine correspondence, responds to visitors and telephone calls. In this fast paced environment, professionalism, thoroughness, speed, and attention to detail are essential. Produces reports, spreadsheets or other documents. Also carries responsibility for project tracking and record support for the college under the supervision of the managers and deans. The main areas include: Academic Administration, Instructor Support, Student Support, Data Entry & Database Support, Hiring, Training, and Supervising Student Workers, Marketing Publications, and acting as a Liaison for many internal and external departments, vendors, providers, and partners.

Required Skills

Associate's degree or equivalent required, B.A./B.S. preferred; organization and communication skills, ability to work with a very diverse population, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and one to three years of related office experience. APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT A COVER LETTER TO BE CONSIDERED.
