Job Description

Responsible for all purchasing from the restricted and unrestricted accounts of assigned Biomedical Engineering (BME) faculty. The position executes the purchasing processes and solves problems involving vendor support, pricing and delivery to provide the best products and services to support for their faculty’s research programs. Additional responsibilities include: evaluating compliance with Boston University and funding agency guidelines, fulfilling all assigned faculty reimbursement requests, disbursements, and travel reimbursements, handling undergraduate and graduate student payroll, and providing assistance as required to the department's Financial Managers.

Required Skills

Associate’s degree, B.A./B.S. preferred. Experience with purchasing and reimbursement in a higher education environment preferred. One to three years of related experience. MUST INCLUDE COVER LETTER IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED.
