WoVeN or Women Veterans Network is a peer supported network to enhance wellness, relationships and community. This program will lead a nationwide network of structured, trained peer-facilitated, 10-week support groups for women veterans to enhance wellness, quality of life, family relationships, occupational functioning, supportive connections with other veterans and, as needed, referrals for additional services.
The Program Manager will work on the development of a program website and will coordinate with content experts to facilitate content development and website maintenance. She/he will also provide oversight of the development of training materials and workshops for the peer facilitators who will run the focus groups. She/he will coordinate the effort and the products that will be developed by content experts and will oversee the activities of a half time research assistant.
The Program Manager will also participate in the focus groups and in training of the peer facilitators during the training workshops. She/he will be responsible for creating an evaluation plan and will generate progress reports for donors and stakeholders. She/he will also liaison and partner with community partners including recruitment and retention planning.
This position is grant funded.
5-8 years of experience required and Master's degree preferred.
